Thanks to all our swimmers, volunteers, and donors for the 14th Annual David's Old Silver Swim. Although the official swim was cancelled due to weather, the joy and determination that were a hallmark of David's life were on display at Old Silver Beach as we gathered and splashed in the water despite the waves.

The Swim has been such an important part of our lives for the last 14 years and David’s Swim has helped David greatly over those years. It served as a focal point for him each and every summer and he has guided this event from the beginning. His presence will always be with us all and we are eternally grateful to all the swimmers, volunteers, and donors that have helped create this event from its humble beginnings to becoming a defining event for our summers.

The David's Old Silver Swim planning committee has decided that this will be the last year that David’s Swim Inc, the not-for-profit organization that has run this event for 14 years, will operate this event, and going forward the event will be run by Ron Hoffman and Compassionate Care ALS for 2025 and beyond. Ron and his organization are committed to continuing this legacy for David and David’s Swim as a CCALS event will live on. We all hope that you will be able to join us for many years to come in remembering David and supporting his legacy.
